Trustees

The New Zealand Institute of Rural Health, is a Charitable Trust, is governed by a Board of Trustees. The make-up of the Board is designed to ensure a broad range of expert stakeholder input. The Board of Trustees currently comprises:
  • Mr David Clarke, Director, Cranleigh Merchant Bankers
  • Mr Brian Rousseau, Chief Executive Officer, Otago and Southland District Health Boards
  • Associate Professor Judy Kilpatrick, Head of School of Nursing, The University of Auckland
  • Dr John Adams, Dean of Dunedin School of Medicine, University of Otago
  • Mrs Sherrill Dackers, Past President of Rural Women New Zealand
  • Professor Ross Lawrenson, Head of Waikato Clinical School - The University of Auckland nominee
  • Ms Ruth Rhodes, Senior Portfolio Manager, Waikato District Health Board
